Amefri redemption: minimums, limits, timing and requests

Check both the minimum and your limit

The FAQ describes redemption from 4,000pt = ¥400, but destination minimums, units and rates differ. Reaching a minimum does not override the per-request limit for your rank. Confirm both on the request screen.

Wait for completion before the next request

Since March 2026, simultaneous requests are unavailable even for different destinations. Complete the current exchange before the next. Bank transfers and JAL miles are also limited to one request per month. Splitting points into small requests does not remove these rules.

Bank transfers and gifts have different timing

The official guide describes bank transfers around the twentieth of the following month, and gift codes from the same day to two business days, with exceptions. Destination details, holidays and authentication can affect timing.

Verify the recipient and expiry

Check account-name and linked-account requirements. Do not abbreviate an unaccepted name on your own. Gift codes can expire. Review completion messages and the destination itself, and check spam folders if a message is missing.

Prepare redemption records for support

Record the request date, destination, points and pending or completed status. Missing advertisement approval differs from a redeemed reward not arriving. Unapproved offers are not available redemption balance.

Per-request limits by membership rank

These are per-request caps. Bank and JAL requests are monthly; wait for the current exchange to finish before another. Check the current official screen.

For residents from abroad

Nationality alone does not establish eligibility. Check each service’s current membership rules, age and residence requirements, accepted phone authentication and identity documents. An advertiser or redemption provider may apply different conditions from the points website. Pivox does not confirm individual eligibility or promise approval. Official registration and support screens may be in Japanese; this is an independent guide, not an official English service. Before registering, check the spelling of your name, Japanese address and phone authentication on the official form. Where a bank account is required, confirm the account-holder name and supported account type with the redemption provider. Do not invent a kana spelling or abbreviate a name just to pass a form. Ask official support if your name cannot be entered correctly.
