Two stages: EC Navi → PeX → destination

EC Navi points are first moved to PeX (a point exchange service), and you then exchange them at PeX for a bank deposit, e-money, gift cards and more. These are two separate procedures, each with its own minimum, fee and timing.

EC Navi balance → PeX balance → bank account, e-money, gift card, etc.

Sources (Japanese): Exchangeable points / Fee to PeX / Timing at PeX

Because the unit is 1,000 pts, any remainder stays in PeX. For example, if a bank needs 5,500 P to receive ¥500, you move 6,000 pts and the other 500 P stays at PeX. Work backwards from the destination’s requirement.

Stage 2: PeX to your destination

Points moved to PeX are exchanged from PeX’s official destination list (Japanese). At PeX the basic value is 10 P = ¥1, shown as “5,000 P → ¥500”. The tables below reflect the PeX exchange pages checked on 6 November 2026. Campaigns and availability change.

Your first exchange requires a profile setting for identity verification. The PeX bank pages said a profile setting is requested before the first exchange, and that it can take up to 2 hours before an application becomes possible. The bank-transfer and Rakuten Bank pages also showed a security notice that an application takes about 7 days to complete.

“Yield” in the tables is calculated from the displayed rate (amount received ÷ points used) and excludes fees. Always read it together with the fee column. Screenshots are examples; conditions change.

Compare four conditions on the same basis: minimum, fee, rate and timing. The EC Navi minimum (3,000 pts) is separate from PeX’s, and a free EC Navi → PeX step does not mean the next step is free.

Bank and cash (comparison table)

There are many banks, so compare them in a table first. Every bank uses the same rate of 5,000 P → ¥500, a unit of 500 P and a maximum of 1,000,000 P. The differences are the fee and the arrival date. These are destinations for Japanese bank accounts; this guide does not establish overseas transfers.

The fee is deducted in PeX points and the minimum is “5,000 P + fee”. “EC Navi pts needed” assumes you start with a zero PeX balance and move points in units of 1,000. The PeX page may show a way to get fees refunded through an entry-based campaign; check the conditions each time.

Exchange to a bitFlyer “Wallet Class” account is not possible, and the rate is the market rate when you submit.

If an exchange fails or does not arrive

  • No verification code: check your registered email and mail settings, then see EC Navi’s official verification help.
  • EC Navi balance too low: check your exchangeable balance and the 1,000 pts unit.
  • Nothing at PeX: confirm the EC Navi application was completed and that you are viewing your own PeX account.
  • At PeX but not at the destination: check the PeX application status, scheduled date and any required action. Some banks take longer.

Note the date and time, points exchanged and any error shown, then contact the official support for the stage where the problem occurred. Never share passwords or verification codes.

Check expiry before exchanging

EC Navi points expire by the period in which they were earned. Check the expiry page for balances nearing their date, and check PeX’s own expiry separately after moving points.

FAQ

Can I exchange EC Navi points directly to a bank or e-money?

This guide covers the route of moving EC Navi points to PeX and choosing a destination there. Destinations shown on EC Navi’s own exchange page can change, so check the live screen.

Which bank is best?

The rate is the same (5,000 P → ¥500), so compare the fee and the arrival date. In the table, Rakuten Bank, Japan Post Bank, Mizuho Bank and docomo SMTB Net Bank charge 500 P, PayPay Bank 1,000 P and other banks by transfer 2,000 P.

Is a free destination always the best?

Consider the yield and whether you will use it. A free destination you will not use is not a good fit.

What happens to the remainder left at PeX?

EC Navi → PeX moves 1,000 pts at a time, so a remainder stays at PeX. Check PeX’s expiry separately and use it in a later exchange.
